Oktanta Company has developed a new EM1401 non-contact thickness gauge that measures thickness of steel pipes, tanks, flat steel and other steel constructions, together with constructions made of aluminium and other metals.
Measurements can be taken without couplant, without advance surface preparation and across the operating gap between the transducer and the metal of up to 6 mm.
EM1401 has a bright colour display that allows user to view waveform (A-scan).
EM1401 has three thickness measurement modes:
– automatic;
– manual mode, measurements are made using maximum in the first strobe;
– manual mode, measurements are made using two maximums in two strobes.
